BlackBerry Phablet ‘Aristo’ possible specs leak
Earlier last month we saw a slide leak on the web which showed us the probably 2013 roadmap of Canadian giant BlackBerry and that the company might just be on the way to enter the ‘Phablet’ arena with the launch of a larger device sometime in Q4 2013-Q1 2014. The possible specs of the BlackBerry Phablet code-named ‘Aristo‘ and ‘Anisio’ (the A-Series) suggested that the device could arrive with a 4.65 inch display with a 1280 x 720 pixels display and 2 GB of RAM.
But latest rumour are indicating that the BlackBerry Phablet might just have received an upgrade prior to the launch. We are now hearing that the device might have a Super AMOLED display with a 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution with a 4 GB RAM on-board and a powerful 3000 mAh battery. If BlackBerry does plan to and if it is successful to bring out this combination on a Phablet, then there would be definitely compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Note Series, the Sony Xperia Z, HTC One and other phablets.
BlackBerry Aristo Mockup
For now, there is no concrete confirmation on the same so we would advise you to take all of this with a nice amount of salt. BlackBerry launched the Z10 a couple of months back and the BlackBerry Q10 with a touch and type design with a full-QWERTY physical keyboard will be made available in the market by the month of May. The company also has plans for a possible 10 inch tablet running on the BlackBerry 10 OS which is called B10 L and the BlackBerry R10 which seems to be a Q10 with a larger display and the physical keyboard intact.
We would really love to see which way the BlackBerry Phablet Aristo goes as time passes and more leaks find their way on to the web and do let us know if the BlackBerry A-Series impresses you in the comments below.
