Google has launched the much awaited Nexus 10 Tablet today. Even after Hurricane Sandy disturbing the Eastern Seaboard, that made to look like that launch event will be postponed. This time Google leaving behind Asus, joined hand with its old equipment vendor Samsung and both company paired together to make Nexus 10 one of the most talked after Android Tablet. Google Nexus 7 has already fired lots of expectations from the Nexus 10 and it seems like Google was successful to add some wow quotient [that too after the iPad Mini launch].

The New Nexus 10 is similarly sized to Samsung’s own Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. It is powered by a Dual Core Cortex A15 based 1.7 GHz processor that is paired with a Samsung Exynos 5250 Chipset and Mali T604 graphics. Although, we were expecting that Google will be using the same Quad Core processor but it seems like a great work to keep down the price and give iPad some serious competition. There is whole new Screen which has higher resolution of 2560 x 1600 [more than Full HD resolution] and 300 ppi density. Protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla glass which makes it’s ready for some bumps and dashes and still live without scratches. The Surprise does not end here, there are some major changes.

Google has added 9000mAH massive battery to this laptop and still make to make it 8.9mm thick and weight 60 grams. It’s a massive power house and can easily handle 10 hours of internet surfing on Wi-Fi. Samsung has also cleverly placed the stereo speakers in the front so that you get all the music right to your ears. Most tables have speakers on the back which make it a hassle to listen in an open atmosphere as the sounds get spread to the local atmosphere. The new ergonomically placed speaker make it more comfortable to listen to tablet even with noisy surrounding.

Google Nexus 10 back

Nexus 10 has a 5MP camera that is capable of 1080p HD video recording. There is a 1.9MP front camera as well. Google confirmed that Nexus 10 will be available online on Google play from November 13th in US, UK, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Japan and Canada. Nexus 10 has been priced cleverly to compete with iPad, the 16GB version is available for $399 and if you still need more storage the 32GB edition is priced at $499. At last, I will say that Nexus 10 is going to affect the market of Android 10 inch tablets like Asus Transformer and Galaxy Tab 10.1. But it will also give some scratches to iPad sales.
