To offer a pure Android experience, Google launches its Nexus devices, both a tablet and smartphone each year and earlier this year, the search engine giant announced the Google Nexus 6 smartphone which is manufactured by Motorola, which was once a part of Google and is now currently with Lenovo. The Nexus devices were known to be affordable options for buyers but seems like that is not going to be the case from this year onwards as the official price of the Nexus 6 smartphone has been revealed.


The Google Nexus 6 comes with a large 6 inch display which has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which gives users a pixel density of 496ppi. While the device will be powered by a powerful Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor clocking at 2.65 GHz while the same is coupled with a nice 3 GB of RAM. The Nexus 6 will be available in 32 GB and 64 GB storage options and the smartphone has been priced at Rs. 44,000 and Rs. 49,000 respectively while takes it from an mid price range smartphone to the top end price range thus making it out of reach for many mid range buyers, who are now left with an option to buy whatever Nexus 5 smartphones are available in the market.

The Nexus 6 will go on sale in 12 countries which include the Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom with US has already been lucky to have it first. The Nexus 6 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box which brings in a totally revamped design and look to the Android OS and many more new features. There is a 13 megapixel f/2.0 camera on the back of the Nexus 6 with optical image stabilization and dual-LED flash while a 2 megapixel front facing camera will be available for selfie lovers.

A powerful 3200 mAh battery will keep the Nexus 6 running and the phone will be available in two color options which are Midnight Blue and Could White. We will share more details on the availability of the phone as we hear from Google.
