Google has launched their new Nexus tablet avatar Nexus 10. It’s a 10 inch Tablet with a lots of new features. First I would like to mark that this time Google has joined hands with their old equipment manufacturer Samsung to build up the Nexus 10 tablet. Samsung has created a new HD screen with high resolution 2560 x 1600 pixels and that too at 299 ppi density which is much higher than the new iPad‘s retina display. The new IPS display will provide better video viewing experience at all angles. Google has dropped the Nvidia Tegra 3 Quad core for Nexus 10 and selected the Dual Core Cortex A15 on Samsung chipset. There is a modified Mali-T604 graphics processor gives 5x performance improvement over previous Mali graphics processors and is scalable up to four cores.
We have created a Google Nexus 7 VS Nexus 10 comparison table below. Although, Google has launched the GSM and 32GB version of Nexus 7, we have selected the Wi-Fi variant to feature on this article.

Nexus 10 has taken the hardware to a level above the Nexus 7. Although, I was really disappointed to see the Dual Core processor instead of Quad Core. But it seems like this was a strategy to bring down the price and an attractive package over all that can take on iPad. Recently, Apple has launched iPad 4 and iPad Mini with latest iOS and A5 chipset [iPad Mini]. Google has broken the quality barriers of Apple’s Retina display and presented a high quality HD screen with good viewing angles and vibrant color. Beside that Google has also decided to add latest connectivity standards like NFC, Bluetooth v4 and Quad band Wi-Fi. I am very clear that Google has tried to cover other aspects of a good tablet rather than expending funds on a battery consuming Quad Core processor. Nexus 10 price starts almost double when compared to Nexus 7, you can get a 16 GB version for $399 [Nexus 7 can be purchased in Minimum $199 for 8GB version]. There is also a 32GB variant available for $499. The Price is very competitive to Apple and Windows Surface tablets. There are rumors that Google can introduce a 3G version of Nexus 10 Tablet by 2013 first quarter.
