HTC Droid DNA and HTC J Butterfly Smartphone that was launched earlier in this year, today its international variant has been announced named HTC Butterfly. HTC Butterfly is in “Phablet” categories as it’s equipped with a big, high resolution display of 5 inches Capacitive, Multi-touch with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels along with 441ppi which goes well beyond Retina display with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and HTC Sense UI 4+. HTC Butterfly has broken the barrier created by other high end phablets like Note II and Asus Pad Phone. HTC has tried their best to put in some eye catching features in this phablet, let’s see what are the specs and features of HTC butterfly.

Butterfly runs on the latest version of Android OS, v4. 1 (Jelly Bean), upgradable to v4. 2 (Jelly Bean) and is powered a beast processor of Quad-core 1.5 GHz Krait paired with Adreno 320 GPU. HTC has installed an 8 megapixel Autofocus, LED flash rear camera along with 2.1 MP front facing camera for video calling and shoots video of [email protected] and has 16 GB (11 GB user available) of Internal memory up to 32 GB expandable memory with 2GB RAM. HTC Butterfly has its connectivity via 3G, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, NFC, DLNA, and Bluetooth 4.0 with USB and measures a sleek and smooth body dimension of 143 x 70.5 x 9.1 mm weighing around 140 g which is not too heavy. HTC Butterfly is fueled by a Standard battery, Li-Po 2020 mAh with excellent battery backup, and most probably will be priced around  844.44.

Although, HTC is not packed with some revolutionary devices like S-Pen or a tablet screen [like on Padfone].  HTC has equipped its phablet with all the latest hardware and software with elegant look and design, Butterfly will be giving a very tough competition to Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and also all the other Phablet of this range as its performance will not be matched with any tablet phone. HTC Butterfly one of the most high ending phablet till date and we think it will be able to create its magic in the field of Android market and hope that it will be a successful one.
