HTC has been very active lately in launching its new smartphone in the Indian subcontinent and today again we see a new launch from the company. Just earlier this month, the company announced the HTC Desire 310 which arrives with some entry-level smartphone specifications and now, the device has been launched in India officially for a price tag of Rs.Rs.11,700, which is good going by how is an expert in pricing its device more than they deserve.

On the specifications-front, the HTC Desire 310 carries a 4.5 inch IPS display which has a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels while the smartphone is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor clocking at 1.3 GHz which is a great news but will be complimented with just 512 MB of RAM, which could be a pain. There is 4 GB of internal storage which, thankfully will be expdandable up to 32 GB using a microSD card slot. The HTC Desire 310 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS with HTC’s Sense 5.0 UI on the top of it and includes HTC BlinkFeed and HTC Video Highlights.

There is a decent 5 megapixel camera on the back of the HTC Desire 310 but it lacks the support of a Flash but is capable of recording videos at 1080p. There is also a VGA front facing camera to make use of for video chats and more. The phone comes with 2G, 3G, Bluetooth v4.0, MHL, GPS, Wi-Fi and 3.5mm audio jack on the connectivity front along with dual-SIM (GSM + GSM) capability. The HTC Desire 310 is powered by a 2000 mAh battery and will be available for prospective buyers in White, Blue and Red colour options for Rs.11,700.
