Taiwanese giant HTC has lost a good number of its market share in the past year but the company is still trying its best to grab as much as market as possible and bringing out new smartphones for users in almost every price range possible. And in that attempt, the company has today announced the launch of a new smartphone called the HTC Desire 700 Dual SIM in the Indian market for prospective buyers. The smartphone was announced last month in Taiwan.

The HTC Desire 700 Dual SIM arrives with a 5 inch display with a resolution of 960 x 540 (qHD) pixels which is just decent enough. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor which is coupled with 1 GB of RAM, so the performance should be good. The HTC Desire 700 Dual SIM has internal storage of 8 GB which can be expanded using a microSD card slot up to 64 GB. The smartphone runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense UI.

There is an 8 megapixel camera on the back of the device with LED Flash which comes with a BSI sensor, 28mm lens, F2.0 aperture, HTC Zoe and 1080p video recording while the front facing camera is pegged at 2.1 megapixel, again with BSI Sensor. The HTC Desire 700 Dual SIM comes with dual frontal stereo speakers and HTC BoomSound while dual-SIM connectivity with dual active capability is on-board. Other connectivity options include 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, DLNA, 3.5mm audio jack and GPS. The HTC Desire 700 Dual SIM is powered by a powerful 2100 mAh battery which will keep the device running. HTC has priced the smartphone at Rs.33,050 which seems to be a bit pricey.
