In the past couple of months, we have seen the HTC One Max with a large 5.9 inch display getting leaked and rumored to arrive with a fingerprint scanner a lot and today, the Taiwanese giant has officially announced the launch of the HTC One Max. The HTC One Max will be a first smartphone from the company to pack in a large 5.9 inch full- HD display and takes design cues from the HTC One which is still considered as one of the best Android device out there.

The HTC One Max is powered by a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor clocking in at 1.7 GHz and sadly there is no Snapdragon 800 processor on this device. A 2 GB RAM has been included to support all the processing on the smartphone while internal memory is pegged at 16 GB and 32 GB which will further be expandable up to 64 GB using a MicroSD card slot. The HTC One Max arrives with a removable back plate which will give users access to the microSD card slot but the battery is non-removable and cannot be accessed.

The HTC One Max arrives with the same 4 megapixel Ultrapixel camera with LED Flash as on the HTC One. The camera also has BSI sensor and is capable of recording videos at 1080p and HTC Zoe camera enhancement. There is also a 2.1 megapixel front facing camera on the HTC One Max for video calls and more included on the device. The device also packs in front facing stereo dual speakers with HTC BoomSound which will give users an enhanced music-listening experience. The HTC One Max is the first device to not arrive with the Beats Audio branding on it as HTC and Beats called off the partnership recently. Android 4.3 Jelly Bean runs the show on the smartphone and HTC Sense 5.5 is on the top of it.
HTC One Max comes with a built-in Fingerprint Scan feature which is located on the back of the device. The fingerprint scanner allows users to lock or unlock the screen and quickly launch up to three favorite applications by assigning an individual finger to each. The HTC One Max carries 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, MHL, NFC and 3.5mm audio jack when we consider the connectivity options. There is a 3300 mAh battery on the One max which should be enough to give users a decent backup. HTC has announced that the device will roll out globally from mid – end October but there is no details on the pricing of the device.
