HTC One will be giving a tough competition to Apple’s iPhone and all the latest high end Android smartphone. HTC has equipped its flagship device with all the latest and powerful hardware but is that to enough to beat another flagship device launched by Sony. Sony has also announced its latest flagship smartphone which will be competing with all the leading and high end smartphones. On the other hand Sony has equipped its Smartphone with HD 5.0 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and ~441 ppi pixel density along with Shatter proof and scratch-resistant glass, Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 and dust and water resistant measuring body dimension around 139 x 71 x 7.9 mm weighing around 146 g. In this section Sony takes a lead as its display and design is more commendable.

Operating System & Processor:

HTC has installed a 4-megapixels Ultrapixel Camera Sensor rear camera with back-illuminated sensor (BSI), LED flash, HDR, 1080p video and optical image stabilization along with 2.1-megapixels with HDR front facing camera. On the other hand Sony has installed an HD 13.1 MP rear camera featuring Autofocus, LED flash, check quality with resolution of 4128×3096 pixels along with 2.2 MP front facing camera for video calling. In this section also Sony is better than HTC although HTC has used the UltraPixel Camera Sensor but then also Sony’s HD 13.1 MP camera will provide better video and picture quality.

Memory:

HTC ONE houses 32GB or 64GB internal storage with no option for expandable memory with 2GB RAM which is quiet a huge memory but it will have no option for expandable memory that is a negative point. Sony Xperia Z houses a 16 GB internal memory with 32GB expandable memory and 2 GB RAM which is also nice but it should have 64GB expandable memory instead of 32GB. In this section we can see that HTC wins as it has a huge memory option for its users.

Verdict:

Sony Xperia Z can pack a 13MP camera in a Quad core Android Jelly Bean Phablet. But Still HTC One has shown great power in its Benchmark tests that surpasses Xperia Z and Galaxy S3. HTC One also packs a more powerful processor with better camera, Beats audio and HD screen. If you are planning to buy Xperia Z but still want to save money then HTC One is proves to be the best option.
