Chinese manufacturer Huawei has today unveiled the Huawei A199 which is a mid-range smartphone which arrives with a 5 inch HD Display and a quad-core processor for the Chinese market. We are not sure if the Smartphone will be seen in the international markets but most of the specifications of the smartphone go on to the those which are being launched by Indian companies, for example the Micromax Canvas HD. The Huawei A119 goes on to be powered by Huawei’s quad-core 1.5 GHz K3V2 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The 5 inch IPS display on the A119 has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and the internal storage on the Huawei A119 is pegged at 8GB which can be expandable using the microSD card slot up to 32 GB. The Huawei A119 has an 8 megapixel rear facing camera with LED Flash while a 1.3 megapixel front camera for video calls has been included.

Connectivity-wise, the Huawei A119 has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm audio jack and GPS. The A119 arrives with Huawei’s Emotion UI which runs atop the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and the smartphone gets all the juice to run from a powerful 2150 mAh battery. We are still unsure if Huawei will make the device available in the international market or not and will have to wait for an official confirmation from the company.

It is also being rumored that Huawei is planning to launch a new flagship smartphone with a full-HD display, quad-core processor,  2 GB RAM, 16/32 GB RAM and the device would be just 6.9mm thick which should give other flagships from various companies, a run for the money.
