Chinese tech giant Huawei is known for launching affordable Android devices and adding another product to its existing range of offering, the company has today announced the launch of a new tablet called the Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue which, apart from the large display also packs in the capability to make voice calls. As the name suggests, the Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue arrives with a 7 inch IPS display which has a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels which is decent enough but not that excellent.

The Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core K3V2 HiSilicon processor which has been developed by Huawei themselves and this is coupled with 1 GB of RAM, so the performance of the tablet should be goos enough and multi tasking shouldn’t be a problem for users. Apart from this, there is 8 GB of internal storage which will be expandable up to 32 GB using a microSD card and the tablet runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS with Huawei’s own Emotion UI 1.5 on top of it.

The Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue has a 3 megapixel camera on the back while a VGA front facing camera has been included and the tablet comes with 3G connectivity and the ability to make voice calls over the network. Other connecitivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and microUSB amongst others. A powerful 4100 mAh battery will take care of all the juice required to keep the tablet running and the device looks great in a sleek 9.5mm aluminium metal unibody design.

Huawei will make the MediaPad 7 Vogue available in Black and White colour options and it will go on sale in Taiwan and China sometime later next month for about $299.
