A few days back, we shared with you that Cupertino based tech giant Apple, would launch its iPhone 5S and the plastic iPhone 5C would go on to launch on November 1st, 2013 in India along with many other countries. But what we did not know was the price at which the devices would be made available for prospective buyers in the Indian subcontinent. Today, Apple has offcially announced the prices at which the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C will be selling in India.


To start which, the iPhone 5S which packs in a 4 inch retina display, new A7 processor, 8 megapixel iSight camera and the new TouchID fingerprint scanner will be available in India starting at Rs.53,500 for the 16 GB variant. Yes, you read it right. Buyers will have to shell out Rs.53,500 for the most basic of version of the iPhone 5S. And if wish to go in for the variants with higher storage capacity, you will have to shell out more. For the 32 GB version of the iPhone 5S users will have to pay Rs.62,500 including taxes while the 64 GB iPhone 5S will be available for Rs.71,500.The iPhone 5S will be made available in three colour options which include Gray, Silver and Gold.


Next, the colourful iPhone 5C which is basically a replacement to the iPhone 5 is not going to come any cheaper as the 16 GB version of the iPhone 5C will be available for Rs.41,900 which is way more than what many of us were expecting the smartphone to launch at. Also, the iPhone 5C‘s 32 GB version will be available for Rs.53,500, which is also the price of the iPhone 5S’s 16 GB variant. The iPhone 5C packs in a 4 inch Retina Display screen, is powered by the A6 dual-core processor, colourful plastic body, 8 megapixel iSight camera and more. The iPhone 5C will be available in colour options such as Blue, Green, Pink, Yellow and White. Both the phones will be available from Airtel, Aircel and Reliance in India with some or the other bundled plans.
