It is that time of the year when Cupertino based tech giant Apple, will go on to unveil the much rumoured iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C smartphone which was leaked in great numbers. And now, just hours before the official launch, a new leak spills details on the much-awaited and rumoured fingerprint scanner which is said to be arriving on the Apple iPhone 5S and will be integrated into the home button of the iPhone 5S.


What you are seeing above is the purported user manual of the iPhone 5S which reveals that the fingerprint scanner on the device will be called Touch ID sensor and the aquare icon which is found on the home button of the iPhone will no longer be available. The Wall Street Journal is also backing the claims that this Touch ID sensor is indeed a fingerprint scanner. It is being said that this scanner will enable users to unlock their iPhone 5S and also make payments from their devices.

The5S is expected to have the same 4 inch Retina display as on the iPhone 5 and even the dimensions are to remain unchanged. Internally, the device is expected to run on an improved and faster A7 processor while the 8 megapixel camera on the 5S will be of f2.0 aperture and will be complemented with dual LED flash which will let users to take better low light images. And not to forget, the device will run on the iOS 7 which has received a long pending revamp and the fruit company is also to launch a cheaper iPhone which as per the leaks is to be called the iPhone 5C and will be available for a price tag lower than the iPhone 5S and in a variety of colour options with the body made up of polycarbonate plastic.
