Indian company Karbonn had announced first smartphone with a hexa-core processor back called the Karbonn Titanium Hexa back in March and said that the device will go on sale in April but that got delayed. And today, the company has announced that the Karbonn Titanium Hexa will go on sale starting May 20th exclusively on and the preorders start from May 13th. The Karbonn Titanium Hexa will be available to buyers for Rs.16,990 and as per the press release, will come preloaded with Amazon’s mobile shopping app.


The Karbonn Titanium Hexa comes with a 5.5-inch LTPS (Low temperature polysilicon) type display with scratch resistant and oleophobic coating while the resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device runs on 1.5 GHz hexa-core MediaTek processor with 2 GB of RAM while the internal storage is pegged at 16 GB which will further be expandable using a microSD card slot up to 32 GB. As we already shared, the smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS.

The Karbonn Titanium Hexa carries a 13 megapixel auto focus camera with LED Flash on the back while there is a 5 megapixel camera on the front. The device comes dual-SIM capability while other connectivity options includes 2G, 3G, Bluetooth, USB OTG, GPS, Wi-Fi, FM Radio and 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone getting all the juice from a 2050 mAh battery. The Karbonn Titanium Hexa will be available in Black and White colour options.
