Alongside the launch of the Karbonn Titanium Hexa, the Indian company has announced the launch of two new smartphones called the Karbonn Titanium Octane and the Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus. While the Karbonn Titanium Hexa comes with a hexa-core processor, the Karbonn Titanium Octane comes with an octa-core processor, which has lately become a trend in the smartphone industry. The Karbonn Titanium Octane comes with a large 5 inch display which has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels while being powered by a powerful 1.7 GHz Octa Core MediaTek MT6592 processor coupled with Mali 450 GPU which is further supported by 1 GB of RAM thus the performance on the smartphone is expected to be great.


The device Karbonn Titanium Octane runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS out-of-the-box which is a great news for buyers while this makes Karbonn the first Indian mobile company to launch smartphones with the latest iteration of the Android OS. There is a 13 megapixel auto focus camera on the rear of the Karbonn Titanium Octane while there is a lovely 5 megapixel camera on the front of the smartphone for users to be able to take some awesome selfies.

16 GB of internal storage on the device which will further be expandable up to 32 GB using a microSD card slot. Connectivity options include the usual culprits which are 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. The Karbonn Titanium Octane comes with dual-SIM capability while it measures 145.7 x 71.2 x 7.9mm. There is a decent 2000 mAh battery to power the device. The device is priced at Rs.14,490 and will be available from the last week of April.
