We just shared with you about Amazon launching the refreshed version of the Kindle Fire HD and a new Kindle Fire HDX with some great specifications. But along with the two tablets, Amazon has also announced another tablet which is called the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 which, as the name suggests, packs in an 8.9 inch display, quad-core processor and more.


The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 goes on to arrive with an 8.9 inch display which carries a super-high resolution of 2560 x 2600 pixels and is powered by a powerful 2.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with Andreno 330 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. The internal memory is pegged at 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB and Amazon have included an 8 megapixel camera on the back with LED Flash, wide aperture of F/2.2 and is capable of recording videos at 1080p. There is also an HD front camera while the tablet has stereo speakers with Dolby Digital Plus audio.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 arrives with 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 and 3.5mm audio jacks when you consider the connectivity options on the tablet and going by the battery backup, Amazon says that the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 will last upt 12 hours with mixed use and about 18 hours when reading something. Coming to the pricing, the basic WiFi version of the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 will be available for $379, shipping from November 7th while the basic 4G version will set you back by about $479 with shipping starting December 10th in the US.
