International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012 has kick started today on Las Vegas. Companies are busy announcing exciting new devices which will be released year. Lenovo announced two new tablets in CES 2012 called IdeaTab S2 and LePad K2010.

 Lenovo LePad K2010

LePad K2010 is a quad-core tablet powered by latest Nvidia Tegra 3 processor. The most interesting feature of this tablet is mind-blowing  1,920 x 1,200 pixels IPS panel 16:10 display. It will be world’s first tablet to have this kind of screen resolution. It will be exciting to see how Tegra 3 will handle gaming performance on this screen resolution. While most of  all current tablets have 1,280 x 800 resolution screen, it’s a great improvement over it. LePad K2010 is having a 8 megapixel camera and it will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Lenevo LePad K2010 will be a serious competitor of Asus Eee Pad Transfor Prime which is also having same quad-core Tegra 3 processor. This tablet has finger print reader which can also act like a mouse, a micro HDMI port for connecting HDTV. Unfortunately this tablets will be released on China only, we will see an international version of this tablet later. There is no details about pricing and release date of Lenevo LePad K2010 at this time.

Lenovo IdeaTab S2

IdeaTab S2  is a 10 inch dual-core tablet powered by 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor with 1GB RAM. At 8.68 mm thickness and 580 gm weight it is one of slimmest and lightest 10.1 inch tablet in the market. Lenovo IdeaTab S2  has 10.1 inch LED backlit IPS display with 1,280 x 800 resolutions. It has a 5MP auto focus camera at back and 1.3 MP front camera.  IdeaTab S2 covers all connectivity options 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro HDMI. It has 1GM RAM and internal SSD memory upto 64GB, memory. Lenovo will offer a Asus Eee Pad Transfor Prime like keyboard dock for IdeaTab S2. The keyboard dock has a multitouch pad, two standard USB 2.0 ports and  SDHC card reader. This tablet will have 9 hours battery life and upto 18 hours battery life when connected with the keyboard dock.
