Lenovo has today announced the launch of its two new Android tablets called the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 and the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 in India and the naming itself goes on to indicate the screen size that the device arrives with. One interesting feature of these tablets is that the users can use the tablets in three modes which are holding it, tilting it and in a standing mode thanks to the design which the company has put into the tablets.


First up is the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 which packs in an 8 inch multi-touch display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The tablet is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM while the internal storage is pegged at 16 GB with a microSD card slot to expand the memory up to 64 GB. There is a 5 megapixel camera on the back of the tablet while there is an 1.6 megapixel camera on the front. The company has launched the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 with 3G voice calling facility while other connecitivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, microUSb, Microphone with noise reduction. The tablet is powered by a 6000 mAh battery to keep it running.

The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 packs in a 10 inch display and similar specifications as the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 along with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box while a dual front-facing speakers with Dolby Digital Plus DS1. The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 is powered by a powerful 9000 mAh batttery while 3G connectivity available using a SIM card slot.

Going by the pricing, the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 has been priced at Rs.22,999 while the the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 will be avaialble for Rs.28,999. The company will be offering a sleeve cover, a protective film, and an earphone with both the tablets worth Rs.4000 and Rs.5000 respectively to everyone buying the tablets before November 24th.
