Just about a couple of weeks back, LG went ahead and announced a lighter (on specifications and price) version of its LG G Pro smartphone called the LG G Pro Lite with a 5.5 inch display and dual-SIM capability and now within a few weeks, the device i already available online for prospective buyers in India for decent price tag of Rs.18,300 from online retailer Snapdeal which is quite a good pricing by the company for the specifications that it has packed into the device.

To start with, the LG G Pro Lite arrives with a 5.5 inch IPS display which has a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels which is not that good but decent enough. The smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core MediaTek processor (sorry, no Snapdragon here) coupled with 1 GB of RAM while the internal memory on the device is pegged at 8 GB which will further be expandable up to 32 GB using a microSD card slot. The LG G Pro Lite runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS.

On the back of the LG G Pro Lite is an 8 megapixel camera with BSI sensor and LED Flash while LG has also been kind to include a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front for users to be able to make video calls and chat with their loved ones. Connecitivity wise, the LG G Prp Lite carries 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack apart from being available in both single-SIM and dual-SIM variant. One best thing about the smartphone is the inclution of a powerful 3140 mAh battery to keep the device going all day long.

Prospective buyers will be able to select between White and Black colour options and shell out about Rs.18,300 for the LG G Pro Lite. An official launch announcement is awaited from LG. Are you buying one?
