The LG G2 is one smartphone which has found it really hard to stay off the camera lately and has been appearing in various leaks every now and then and today is no different. The LG G2 which is scheduled to be unveiled on August 7th has today appeared in a couple of images which go on to again confirm the back-mounted volume control buttons and also tell us more about the home screen and the battery which will power the 5.2 inch flagship.

As you can see in the images, the LG G2 will carry a powerful 2610 mAh battery which will be user removable, which is indeed great as users will be able to carry a spare battery in cases when they are away from the charging points for a longer period. Also the LG G2 is giving the hardware buttons a skip in favor of the on-screen buttons and LG has made it a point to make them available with a transparent background. Also, the status bar has got the transparent treatment.

According to the previous rumors, the LG G2 will carry a 5.2 inch full-HD display and will be powered by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocking at 2.3 GHz which will be coupled with 2 GB of RAM. Though Android 4.3 has gone official, we expect the LG G2 to ship with the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box while the upgrade arriving at a later date. It is really interesting to see as to how the placement of the volume buttons on the back will change the way we use the smartphones. 13 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization and LED Flash has also been included on the G2.
