LG has been betting a lot on its flagship smartphones and the company has today announced the launch of the recently announced LG G2 in the Indian subcontinent for a very interesting pricing. The LG G2 was announced last month and the smartphone packs in some very good specifications which users might be looking in and also a very interesting placement of the volume rockers and power button on the back of the smartphone which the company says has been decided upon after researching and asking a lot of people.


Going by the specifications, the LG G2 arrives with a 5.2 inch full HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels while the smartphone is being powered by a powerful 2.26 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 prcoessor with Adreno 330 GPU clocking at 480 MHz coupled with 2 GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS and it might not be long until users get Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. Weighing at just 140 grams, the LG G2 carries a 13 megapixel camera with LED Flash and has Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) with capability of recording videos at 1080p and features like Super Resolution and Multi-point AF.


A 2.1 megapixel front facing camera for video calls and chats has also been included on the LG G2. Internal memory on the smartphone is pegged at 16 GB and 32 GB. Battery on LG G2 is pegged at 3000 mAh and this should provide good back up to users. Other features include double tap to wake up which is called Knock On and the device will be available in Black and White colour options. LG has priced the 16 GB variant of the LG G2 at Rs.41,500 and the 32 GB version will be available for Rs.44,500 with the device being available starting today.
