While the LG Optimus G might just months old but LG might already have plans to launch a successor to the 4.7-inch smartphone with a little upgraded specifications. According to a recent leak, it will be the LG Optimus G Pro which will replace the Optimus G. An slide with the possible LG Optimus G Pro and the specifications that the smartphone will bring along has appeared online and gives us a look as to what we can expect from the 5-inch phablet when it launches.


If all the information which is available is right, then we are looking at a slightly upgraded LG Optimus G with a 5-inch full-HD display which is up from the 4.7-inch on the Optimus G. The processor is also expected to have gotten a boost and the G Pro could be powered by a 1.7 GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro with 2 GB of RAM. Even the dimensions of the Optimus G Pro have leaked and suggest that the smartphone will measure 139.0 x 70.0 x 10.0 mm and weigh about 160 grams.

The LG Optimus G Pro is said to carry a 13 megapixels camera with LED Flash on the rear while the front facing camera is said be of 2.4 megapixels. The phablet is expected to be powered by a powerful 3000 mAh battery which is a nice boost from the 2100 mAh battery on Optimus G.
