Last week we shared with you about an upcoming smartphone from Micromax called the Micromax Canvas Blaze HD which comes with dual-SIM GSM + CDMA connectivity options for the buyers to make use of and now, the smartphone has appeared on the official Micromax eStore and tells us that buyers will have to shell out about Rs.16,000 for the smartphone if they wish to buy it.

To recap, the Micromax Canvas Blaze HD will come with a 5 inch capacitive IPS display which has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The device is powered by a powerful 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon MSM8625Q processor which is coupled with 1 GB of RAM, so users will not have to worry about multi tasking and running heavy apps on the smartphone. There will be 4 GB of internal storage which will further be expandable up to 32 GB using a microSD card. The Micromax Canvas Blaze HD runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS with Micromax’s own customized UI running on the top of it.

There is an 8 megapixel camera on the back of the Micromax Canvas Blaze HD with LED Flash while there is a nice 2 megapixel camera for users to take selfies or have a video chat with their loved ones. The smartphone comes with support for 2G and 3G on GSM SIM while EVDO Rev.A on the CDMA SIM. Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio are also avaialable for users on the connectivity front. The Micromax Canvas Blaze HD has a powerful 3000 mAh battery which should be enough to keep the device running all day long for you.

The smartphone comes with MTS’s branding on the back which indicates that it will be available for customers of MTS India but we still haven’t heard about it from the telecom operator. For Rs.16,000, the Blaze HD seems to be a good option with GSM + CDMA connectivity. Official announcement is expected soon.
