Micromax is one company which has given a tough competition to Korean giant Samsung by launching devices of almost same specifications but pricing them much lower thus eating into Sammy’s market. While it has been quite a break for the company since it announced any good device but that might soon end as the company is planning to launch a couple of tablets and a few phones in the Indian market and one of them is the Micromax Canvas Blaze HD EG116 which will come with large 5 inch display and dual-SIM capability wih GSM + CDMA options.

The specifications of Micromax Canvas Blaze HD are good enough as it includes a 5 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels while it is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon MSM8625Q processor which is coupled with 1 GB of RAM, so users will not have to worry about multi tasking and running heavy apps on the smartphone. There will be 4 GB of internal storage which will further be expandable up to 32 GB using a microSD card.

Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the Micromax Canvas Blaze HD has an 8 megapixel auto camera with LED Flash while there is a decent 2 megapixel front facing camera to take selfies and have video chat with your loved ones. The smartphone supports 2G, 3G, on GSM SIM while EVDO Rev.A on the CDMA SIM, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm audio jack on the connectivity front. The Micromax Canvas Blaze HD has a powerful 3000 mAh battery which is good to keep the smartphone.

We can see the branding of MTS on the back of the device, so it might be launched in partnetship with the telecom company. But we do not have any information on the pricing or the prospective date about when the device will be launched. But it might not be too long before we hear about it officially from either MTS or Micromax.
