We all know that Micromax just loves to flood the market with its devices and today is no new. While it has just been months since the company unveiled the Micromax Canvas Doodle Android smartphone with a dedicated stylus and now the Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 A240 has appeared online and is available for prospective buyers from Snapdeal. The Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 A240 has a large 5.7 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x720 pixels.


The Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 A240 is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor which is coupled with a 1 GB of RAM for all the processing while the internal memory is pegged at 12 GB while there is no information on the presence of the microSD card slot for further expansion. The device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box and has all the software customizations like Blow to unlock, vertical panorama, Smart Pause and more will be available for the users on the Doodle 2 too.

There is a 12 megapixel camera on the rear with dual LED Flash on the Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 A240 while a 5 megapixel front facing camera will be available for users to enjoy video calls and chats. The battery on the Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 A240 is pegged at 2600 mAh which should provide users with a decent talktime over 2G network and the smartphone is dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) compatible. Not to forget, the Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 A240 will have a stylus and comes preloaded with the M! Doodle app which users will be able to make use of.

Connectivity options include the usual 2G, 3G, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm audio jack and the microUSB port. Priced at Rs.19,990, the Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 A240 looks to directly target the Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 and we will now have to wait for Micromax to officially launch the device which should happen very soon.
