Micromax is one company which has seen some massive growth in the Indian market thanks to its strategy to flood the market with many affordable mobile phones that the buyer is offered a choice in each price range it is looking for and keeping the ritual alive, the company has today announced the launch of a new flagship called the Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 which is the finally the device which prospective buyers were probably waiting for.


Micromax recently roped in Hollywood star Hugh Jackman as its brand ambassador which really went on to send shock waves around the tech world and the Micromax Canvas Turbo is a indeed a good device for him to launch. Going by the specifications, the Micromax Canvas Turbo packs in a 5 inch full HD Full HD CGS (Continuous Grain Silicon) IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels while it is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad core Mediatek processor couple with 2 GB RAM. The internal memory on the device is pegged at 16 GB.

The Micromax Canvas Turbo runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS with a nice number of pre-loaded apps. The device has a 13 megapixel camera on the back with LED Flash which is capable of recording videos at 1080p while on the front the company has packed in a 5 megapixel camera. The camera is called Camerazzi and includes loads of features which include 250 degree panorama, Cinegraph and Object Eraser. The Micromax Canvas Turbo arrives in a full aluminium casing and a feature called Freewheel which will offer users access to various features and apps in one click.

The Micromax Canvas Turbo has 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack and GPS when we consider the connectivity options while the battery on the device is pegged at 2000 mAh which the company claims to provide about 7 hours of talktime. The Micromax Canvas Turbo will be available inn Midnight Blue and Pristine White color options while it has been priced competitively at Rs.19,990 and it will be available across India starting October 26th, 2013.
