Motorola, which is now a part of Lenovo has been launching some awesome phones since it was under Google and we saw the Moto X and the Moto G which are quite popular for the specifications that they bring along and the price tag for which it is made available. And today the company has launched another device called the Motorola Moto E which brings the best it can for an amazing price tag of just Rs.6,999, which seems to be on its way to kill the smartphones in the similar price range.


The Moto E arrives with a handy 4.3 inch display which has a qHD display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels with scratch resistant and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the top of it. The smartphone is powered by a managable 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor which has Adreno 302 GPU clocking at 400 MHz. This is coupled with 1 GB of RAM while internal memory is pegged at 4 GB with only 1.44 GB available to end users but this will be expandable up to 32 GB using a microSD card slot.

The Moto E comes with Android 4.4 KitKat OS out-of-the-box with guaranteed upgrade which one great news for the prospective buyers as not many OEMs offer guaranteed upgrades for smartphones in this range. The phone carries a decent 5 megapixel camera on the back with no front camera included. The Moto E has 2G, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and dual-SIM connectivity options. The phone is made to survive as it is also water splash proof coating.

The Motorola Moto E is powered by a powerful 1980 mAh battery which will last longer than expected and will go on sale tonight exclusively via online retailer FlipKart in Black and White colour options. The phone will also come with optional back covers and grip shells which users will have to purchase seperately.
