We are just about a week away from the official launch of the Motorola Moto X smartphone and to keep us entertained over the weekend new leaks and information on the upcoming device are here already. First up are the leaked press shots of the Motorola Moto X posing in White and Black colour options. These leaked images come in from popular leakster, @Evleaks and thus the amount of authenticity of the images are high keeping in mind the brilliant track record of the leakster.

Next are the information about the hardware of Motorola Moto X and if Taylor Wimberly is to be believed, the Moto X comes with the Moto Magic Glass, which is said to be a single layer of Gorilla Glass molded to a special polymer to make for a continuous surface that wraps around the entire front and edges of the phone and in addition to this, the Moto X will feature zero gap construction, allowing for a smooth and seamless feel along the backside.

Another detail about the hardware related to the Moto X is that the smartphone will allegedly be made of a laminated aluminum structure, which will make it lightweight but also provide it with a very strong design. And connectivity wise, it is being said that the Moto X might feature 5 antennas which will include the 2G/3G main, GPS, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi, and Dual LTE MIMO Smart Antennas which would offer faster LTE and better reception.

Motorola plans to unveil the Moto X on August 1st and we almost know everything about the smartphone and the company really wants to target the mid-range buyers as it will obviously cater to a larger audience than to cater a limited high-end buyers. Good thinking Moto!
