Nokia knows very well that its Lumia range of smartphones which runs on Windows Phone OS are not doing that great as the company would have expected and this is the reason why the company is concentrating on the Nokia feature phones range of devices which runs on the Series 40 OS. And continuing to expand its range, the company has today announced the Nokia 207, Nokia 208 and the Nokia 208 Dual SIM.


The Nokia 207 and the Nokia  208 combine the familiar ‘candybar’ design with Nokia’s signature bold colours and faster 3.5G-capable Internet speeds and all of this at an affordable price. The Nokia  207 and  208 both carry a 2.4 inch display which has a decent 320 x 240 pixel resolution and 65k colours. The feature phones have 64 MB of RAM and carry an internal memory of 256 MB which will be expandable up to 32 GB using microSD card. and comes with a physical T-9 keypad which will allow users to text faster. While the Nokia  207 will be available in a single-SIM variant, the Nokia  208 will be available in both single-SIM and dual-SIM variant.

The Nokia 208 and the Nokia 208 dual SIM will carry a 1.3 megapixel rear camera with some interesting imaging features such as voice guided self portrait, sequential shot and  panorama mode. Nokia has included its Slam feature which will enable users to share multimedia content like photos, music and videos with nearby friends instantly. Nokia 208 Dual SIM has the Easy Swap technology with dedicated SIM manager that lets you switch SIM cards without switching off the device. Oh and not to forget, all the devices will have the feature of internet sharing.

The Nokia 207, Nokia 208 and the Nokia 208 dual-SIM include connectivity options like 2G, 3G, Bluetooth, microUSB port for charging and data transfer and 3.5mm audio jack. Both the phones will be powered by a 1020 mAh battery which is said to give up to 12 hours of talk time on 2G and up to 4.5 hours when on 3G mode. The devices will go on sale in Q3 2013 and will be available in Red, Cyan, Yellow, White and Black while it has been priced at $68.
