Lately there has been a lot of talking about the Nokia ‘Catwalk’ which is expected to arrive with aluminium body and just a couple of weeks back, we shared with you the possible specifications of the upcoming smartphone. And today, a couple of alleged images of the Nokia Catwalk have appeared on Chinese site Baidu which give us a look as to what Nokia might have in store for us. In the first image, we can clearly notice the aluminium casing that the device is rumored to arrive with.

On the top of the device, we can see the 3.5mm headphone jack and next to it is the microUSB port which seems to have been moved to the top of the smartphone in contrast to the previous devices where it was placed at the bottom of the smartphone. But this could also be the microHDMI port. There is no compulsion of the OEMs that they have to necessarily place the microUSB port at the bottom of the device.

Coming to the second image which has leaked, the first thing which we can notice is the bump near the camera area and this could be thanks to the thinner frame which the Nokia Catwalk is expected to pack in. And in order to accommodate the 8.7 megapixel PureView camera, the bump is a necessity. The rear of the Catwalk seems to be made up of plastic while three connection points at the bottom, which can be used for wireless charging remind us of the Nokia Lumia 720.

The Nokia Catwalk is said to be just 8.4mm thick in contrast to the Nokia Lumia 920 which measures at 10.7mm and the unannounced device is said to weigh just 132 grams which is about 50 grams less than the 920. The Catwalk will have a 4.5 inch 1280 x 768 Octa Display while a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor with 1 GB RAM will power the device. The device will be powered by a 2000 mAh battery and have 16 GB of onboard storage. For now, we cannot confirm the authenticity of these images but we strongly feel that this is not a fake and the real deal which will be unveiled officially sometime in May.
