Tonight, Finnish giant Nokia will be taking the wraps off its much awaited and now much-leaked smartphone, the Nokia EOS aka the Nokia Lumia 1020. While we have seen loads and loads of leaks about the smartphone, today we have details on almost all of the apecifications and some of the features that the cameraphone might arrive with and yes, it does include the 41 megapixel sensor on its back and yes, it will be called the Nokia Lumia 1020.


UTP have been supplied with the possible specifications of the Nokia Lumia 1020 just hours before the launch of the smartphone and it will indeed include a 4.5-inch Pure Motion HD+ AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with Nokia’s ClearBlack display and a resolution of 1280 × 768 pixels. The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and while it is not confirmed if it is the S4, it might clock at 1.5 GHz with 2 cores. The processor on the Nokia Lumia 1020 is complimented with 2 GB of RAM which will take care of all the extra processing which the high resolution images will need. The smartphone will run on the Windows Phone 8 OS and will carry a dedicated Nokia Pro Cam app which will let users to perform some advanced functions which are not available in the WP8 camera app.

The camera of the Nokia Lumia 1020 will carry a 41MP camera with BSI sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), have 6 lens optics, High resolution zoom 3x, Autofocus, Xenon Flash, LED for video and 1080p HD video recording at 30fps. The Nokia Lumia 1020 measures 130.4 x 71.4 x 10.4 mm and weighs 158 grams.
