The leaks around the Nokia Lumia EOS aka Nokia Lumia 1020 are getting stronger with each passing day and today we get to see another press render of the upcoming smartphone appearing online and confirming a few things. First up, the Nokia Lumia 1020 will indeed carry a 41 megapixel sensor on the back and secondly it will be made available in Yellow, White and Black colour options at the time of launch. Along with the leaked image, we also get some information via WPC on the possible final specifications of the Nokia Lumia 1020 and the camera unit which is the focus point of the smartphone seems to be a dream come true.

The source confirms the following things:

Nokia Lumia 1020 specification:

  • It has optical image stabilization (OIS) built in
  • It takes the image in a 32MP and 5MP at the same time in 16:9
  • The 5MP image is over sampled dropping 7 pixels into one “super pixel”
  • It shoots 38MP in 4:3
  • ‘Nokia 909’ was an early name for it but it will be ‘Lumia 1020’ for release
  • 2GB of RAM, an increase of 1GB from other high end Windows Phone 8 devices
  • 32GB of internal storage, no SD
  • WP8 V 8.0.10322.71
  • FM radio (Amber)
  • Flip to silence (Amber)
  • NFC is on board
  • Optional wireless charging backplate will be available

So while the Nokia 808 PureView was able to give excellent images by oversampling and the Nokia Lumia 920 brought excellent Low-light performance coupled with the Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), the Nokia Lumia 1020 is going to combine all of it with a larger F2.2 aperture sensor and is surely going to kill whatever competition is out there. And when so much is going on under the hood, an extra RAM of 1 GB will keep the processing smooth.

Apart from this, more information on the Nokia Pro Cam App have also been divulged and the app will let users use the advanced settings in ‘Live mode’ and they include advanced photo settings to users in “live mode” meaning you can change them like the third party Pro Shot app. Those settings include ISO, White Balance, Manual focus, Shutter speed and Flash.

It will really be interesting to see how the 41 megapixel camera of the Nokia Lumia 1020 really performs in real and we are sure, we will get mesmerized by the camera of the smartphone. We are just a couple of days away from the official unveiling of the Nokia Lumia 1020 and will bring you all the latest details as they unfold.
