Nokia today announced the launch of its flagship device, the Nokia Lumia 1520 earlier today for about $749 but for all the buyers who feel that the price tag is too high for them and they might not be able to own a 6 inch phablet from Nokia, there is some good news. At the event in Abu Dhabi, Nokia officially unveiled the Nokia Lumia 1320 which carries a similar 6 inch display as on the Nokia Lumia 1520 but the display resolution of the device has been lowered to 1280 x 720 pixels which is a LCD IPS Super sensitive display and has Gorilla Glass 3 protection.


The smartphone is also powered by dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocking at 1.7 GHz. This is coupled with 1 GB of RAM while the internal memory is pegged at 8 GB which will further be expandable up to 64 GB using a microSD card. The Nokia Lumia 1320 carries a decent 5 megapixel camera with LED Flash which is capable of recording videos at 1080p at 30 fps. Nokia has also included a VGA front facing camera for users to take advantage of. The smartphone weighs at 220 grams and will run on the Windows Phone 8 GDR3 update.

Connectivity wise, the Nokia Lumia 1320 will have 2G, 3G , 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC and 3.5mm audio jack. The battery on the device is pegged at 3400 mAh which will give users enough juice to keep the device running all day long. The smartphon will be available in variety of colours including Yellow, Red, Orange, White and Black while it has been priced at just $399 making it quite affordable in comparison to the Nokia Lumia 1520. Though if you want to get your hands on the Nokia Lumia 1320, you will have to wait until Q1 2014 when it will start rolling out in China, Vietnam and other Asian markets.
