The Nokia World, which is to be the last Nokia-branded event (before Microsoft takes over it) and is scheduled to be held on October 22nd, 2013 in Abu Dhabi will go on see as many as 6 device launches and the most talked about is the Nokia Lumia 1520 which will be the first ‘Phablet’ from the Finnish company. And today more details are flowing in, confirming the specifications of the device via @Evleaks and the pricing of the device getting revealed in leaked promotional documents from China.

First, popular leakster @Evleaks has shared the specifications of the Bandit aka Nokia Lumia 1520 which will go on to carry a large 6 inch display with full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) while being powered by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2 GB of RAM which are both now supported thanks to the Windows Phone GDR3 update which was announced officially a few days back by Microsoft and is the stepping stone for more advanced devices with competitive hardware to take on the specs-crazy Android devices.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 will also pack in a 20 megapixel PureView Camera with Flash and 16 GB of 32 GB of on-board storage. The smartphone will support Qi wireless charging via snap on covers and will be available in Black, White and Yellow colour options. The battery on the device is expected to be a huge 3400 mAh which will also be the largest from the company yet and according to a leak from China, the device will be available in the country for 4999 Yaun or around $820 with a 99 Yaun booking fee. Now that is indeed a high price for a smartphone but then we hope that the international pricing is a bit less.

We will have all the official information from Nokia on October 22nd when the device will be unveiled officially alongside the Nokia Lumia 1320, a possible Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet and a couple of Nokia Asha phones.
