Finnish giant Nokia, is not letting any leaf unturned when it is coming to making a Windows Phone 8 smartphone available to the prospective buyers in India and the company has today announced that the cheapest Windows Phone 8 smartphone, the Nokia Lumia 520, the launch of which was held last month, will go on sale in the Indian subcontinent from tomorrow, April 6th, 2013, both online and in retail stores for Rs.10499. The Nokia Lumia 520 has a decent 4-inch IPS display with 2D hardened glass which is super-sensitive which can also be used while wearing gloves or even fingernails. The resolution of the screen is 800 x 480 pixels.


The smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor complemented with about 512 MB of RAM whereas the internal storage on-board the device is of 8 GB. This will be expandable up to 32 GB so users will not have to worry about limited storage on the device and not to forget the 7 GB cluod storage from SkyDrive which will also be available.

The Nokia Lumia 520 has a 5 Megapixel rear camera minus the flash and the front camera while the battery on the smartphone is of 1430 mAh. The device will also com preloaded with all the Exlusive-to-Nokia apps like the Nokia Drive, Mix Radio, CityLens, and many more while users will be able to enjoy 1GB of 3G data every month for the first two months from Reliance along with unlimited Facebook and WhatsApp usage during the same period. At Rs.10,499, the Nokia Lumia 520 seems to be going to challenge a lot of cheap Android smartphones.
