Back in July, Nokia went on to announce the largest Lumia smartphone called the Nokia Lumia 625 which packs in a large 4.7 inch display and today the smartphone has gone up for Pre-order with online retailer Flipkart for Rs.19,499. While there has been rumours about Nokia launching a phablet with screen size 5 inch and above but currently the Nokia Lumia 625 is the phablet from the company.


The screen resolution of the Lumia 625 is 800 x 480 pixels and the LCD display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection while it being super sensitive. The Nokia Lumia 625 is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus processor which is complimented with 512 MB of RAM. The smartphone has 8 GB of internal memory which will be expandable using a microSD card slot up to 64 GB. The Nokia Lumia 625 runs on the Windows Phone 8 OS and will arrive with the ‘Amber’ update out-of-the box. The smartphone has a decent 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED Flash and a front facing VGA camera.


The Nokia Lumia 625 will also be one of the most affordable smartphones to arrive with 4G LTE connectivity (region dependent) for faster internet access apart from the usual 2G, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and GLONASS. The Nokia Lumia 625 gets all the juice from a powerful 2000 mAh battery which will keep it running for a nice amount of time. On Flipkart, the Nokia Lumia 625 is available in Orange, Yellow, Bright Green, White and Black colour options while the device is expected to ship in the last week of August. Given that we might hear the officially from Nokia about the launch anytime soon.
