At this year’s Mobile World Congress, Finnish giant Nokia unveiled the Nokia Lumia 720 and the Nokia Lumia 520 smartphones, both running on Microsoft’s latest Windows Phone 8 OS. And today, the company has announced the launch of the Lumia 720 in India.

The Nokia Lumia 720 arrives with 4.3 inch ClearBlack display with a screen resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. A 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor provides all the processing power to the Lumia 720 complemented with 512 MB of RAM. The device has 8 GB of internal memory and apart from this, users will also be able to use 7 GB of free could storage from SkyDrive.

A 6.7 MP autofocus camera on the rear of the device with LED Flash and Carl Zeiss lens will be available for all your camera needs while a 1.3 MP front facing camera for Skype HD chats and video calls has been included too. Connectivity options on the Nokia Lumia 720 include 2G, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.1, aGPS, GLONASS and NFC. All of this is powered by a powerful 2000 mAh battery to keep the smartphone running all day long. In India, owners of the Nokia Lumia 720 will be able to enjoy 3 months of free movie streaming from BigFlix on their smartphones and it will come with 1 GB of free 3G data from Idea Cellular which can be used for 2 months.

Nokia has not revealed the price of the Nokia Lumia 720 but it should be available anywhere between Rs.18,000-Rs.22,000 from mid-April.

    It should be under Rs 16000 so that I can get my hands on it.. I hope Nokia provide it at cheaper price. Specs sheet is good as per my requirements and design is really good.
