It is that time of the smartphone evolution when all top manufacturers are bringing out selfie-centric cameras and to join the race, Microsoft has today launched the Nokia Lumia 730 smartphone in India which was announced last month at the IFA 2014. The Nokia Lumia 730 has a 5 megapixel front facing camera and will be a treat for users who love to click selfies.


An upgrade to the Nokia Lumia 720, the Nokia Lumia 730 carries a 4.7 inch ClearBlack OLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The phone is powered by a decent 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor which is coupled with 1 GB of RAM. The internal memory is pegged at 8 GB which will further be expandable using a microSD card up to 128 GB. The Nokia Lumia 730 runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS with the latest Lumia Denim update.

The Nokia Lumia 730 comes with a 5 megapixel front facing camera with 24mm focal length and capability of recording videos at 720p. On the back, the phone carries a 6.7 megapixel camera with LED Flash and capability of recording videos at 1080p. Coming with dual-SIM capability, the Nokia Lumia 730 will have 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, GPS, FM Radio and 3.5mm audio jack connectivity options. It is powered by a powerful 2220 mAh battery and has been priced at Rs.15,299 which seems to be a competitive price for the device.

Buyers will be able to choose from Dark Grey, White, Bright Orange and Bright Green colour options for the Nokia Lumia 730. Users will also be able to take advantage of 1 TB of cloud storage on Microsoft’s OneDrive for the first 6 month, after which it will be chargeable.
