A few days back, we told you about Chinese mobile manufacturer Oppo launching its new flagship smartphone called the Oppo 7 is the first smartphone to arrive with a 2K display and is also capable of capturing images at 50 megapixels with its 13 megapixel camera and alongside the Oppo 7, the company also made official the Oppo Find 7a which is a slightly scaled down version of the 7 but is still powerful enough to challenge any other flagship smartphone out there.

The Oppo Find 7a comes with a 5.5 inch full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels in contrast to the 2K display on the Oppo 7 but comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and supports gloved and wet touch input. The device is powered by a powerful 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor which is coupled with 2 GB of RAM and it has 16 GB of internal storage, which is thankfully expandable. The Oppo Find 7a runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean which comes with ColorOS 1.2.0 on the top of it.

Like the Oppo 7, the Oppo Find 7a comes with a 13 megapixel camera on the back of it with dual-mode LED but it is incapable of taking pictures at 50 megapixel resolution but still includes a Sony sensor with dedicated ISP of aperture f/2.0. The smartphone has 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, FM Radio and 3.5mm audio jack going by the connectivity options that have been included for the users. There is a powerful 2800 mAh battery which comes with Rapid Charge for charing it up to 75% in just 30 minutes.

The Oppo Find 7a will be available in Midnight Black and White color options while it has been priced at 2998 Yuans. The device should be available in China soon with no information on the global availability just yet. We expect the Oppo Find 7a to be launched in India very soon now that the company has officially made its entry into the Indian subcontinent.
