Chiese manufacturer OPPO recently announced that the company will make its entry into the Indian market with the launch of its OPPO N1 smartphone and today the company went on to officially announce its business operations in the India subcontinent and also launch the OPPO N1, which packs in some really nice features including a 13 megapixel swivel camera and O-Touch which is useful in one hand operation.

The OPPO N1, going by the specification comes with a large 5.9 inch IPS LCD display with a 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor clocking at 1.7 GHz with Adreno 320 and complemented with 2 GB of RAM. The internal storage pegged on the device is 16 GB and 32 GB with no option to expand it using a microSD card, which is a negative point. The OPPO N1 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, but comes with Color ROM, which is highly customized by OPPO. One great advantage of the smartphone is that it comes with an unlocked bootloader so, buyers will be able to load custom ROMs on the device.

The OPPO N1 has a sweet 13 megapixel Swivel camera with 6 lens stacked over one another, an f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED Flash which can be turned to the front and can be used to take great ‘selfies’. The connectivity options on the OPPO N1 include the usual 2G, 3G, Bluetooth, WI-Fi 5 GHz, Wi-Fi Display, Wi-Fi Direct, USB OTG and 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone is powered by a powerful 3610 mAh battery.

The company has priced the Oppo N1 at Rs. 39999 and will make it initially available in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Jaipur and Ludhiana cities while it expands its distribution network to other cities. The price seems high to ask given that the company is new in India and not many peoples will be comfortable in buying its devices but we hope OPPO puts nice effort in advertising and making people aware of the product.
