In the past few days, we have heard and even seen about new smartphones from Korean giant Samsung under its new ‘Neo’ lineup new about the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo popped up and the Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo Plus popped up in China on Samsung’s own official website. And today, another smartphone called the Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo has gone official via Samsung Levant revealing the specifications of the device.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo with the model number GT-I9060 will come with a 5 inch capacitive display with a 800 x 480 pixels resolution, while the Smartphone will be powered by a powerful 1.2 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. There is internal storage of 16 GB on the device, which is a good news which will further be expandable using a microSD card slot up to 64 GB. The device has a decent 5 megapixel camera with LED Flash on the back with a front facing VGA camera also made available to users to make video calls.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS with Samsung’s very own TouchWiz UI running on the top of it. The connectivity options on the device include the usual 2G, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and 3.5mm audio jack. There is a decent 2100 mAh battery to power the Grand Neo. Overall not an awesome device but it looks like a mid-budget smartphone which is already available for prospective buyers in the Netherlands for about 260 Euros in the White color option. No details yet if the smartphone will make its way out of the country into other markets or not.

Along with the Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo, another device called the Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite has also been spotted at the FCC which might be the same phone meant for other market.
