Along with the official unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phablet last night, the Korean giant has also made official the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition which packs in a large 10.1 inch Super Clear LCD diplay and arrives with a high resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels giving users a great viewing experience. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 is being said to bring a balancing productivity, powerful content creation and consumption, all in one portable tablet device.


The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 is powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor for the 4G LTE variant while a 1.9 GHz Exynos 5 Octa processor will power the 3G / Wi-Fi only variant of the tablet coupled with 3 GB of RAM. The internal memory on the tablet is pegged at 16 GB / 32 GB and 64 GB which will further be expandable to 64 GB using a microSD card slot. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS out of the box with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top of it.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition carries an 8 megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor and LED Flash while a 2 megapixel front facing camera will be avialable for users to have video chats. Samsung’s improved S-Pen which is available for the Galaxy Note 3 will also be supported by the tablet and make use of various features. The tablet is powered by a powerful 8220 mAh battery and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition will be made available for buyers in two color options: Jet Black and Class White.

Connectivity wise, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 will pack 2G, 3G. 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, Stereo speakers and more. While Samsung did not share any details on the pricing of the tablet, it will go on sale from Q3 2013 and will be made available globally. We expect it to be available alongside the Galaxy Note 3.
