When Samsung launched the Galaxy Note about 3 years ago, the company created a new segment called the ‘phablet’ which combined the smartphone and tablet into one. The device became an instant hit and Samsung is now all ready to launch the third installment of the Note series called the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The device is the next most anticipated products from the Korean giant after it launched the Samsung Galaxy S4 in March earlier this year. And today Samsung has sent out invites for the official unveiling of the Galaxy Note 3 on September 4th 2013 in Berlin.

Samsung has sent out invites wherein the company has invited us to ‘Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 2’ which is scheduled ahead of the IFA 2013 and the center of attraction is expected to be the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 even though the company hasn’t said anything about the device in the invite, except for ‘Note the date’. According to the previous rumours, The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is supposedly ready to launch with a 5.7 inch full HD display and not a 6 inch display as previously rumoured and the device will carry a Super AMOLED display and sadly there is no flexible display this time around too.

The Note 3 is expected to be available in two variants of processors while one will be run on a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and the other with Samsung’s own Exynos 5 Octa 5420 processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM. In selected markets, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will pack in LTE Advanced (LTE-A) connectivity which will allow users to enjoy speeds twice that offered by 4G LTE. Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS is expected to run on the Galaxy Note 3 out-of-the-box with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on the top of it. A 13 megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization technology with 2 megapixel front camera is expected to be included on the Note 3.

And not to forget the Stylus which will surely be included on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and we are sure that the company would have made important improvements to it too.
