Samsung just loves to launch an Android smartphone in almost every price range available and last year it has made available the Samsung Galaxy S Duos which sold quite well. And now, the company is all set to launch an upgrade to the device called the Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 (GT-S7582) with minor upgrades just like it did with the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 past this week. The Samsung Galaxy S Duos has appeared online on Samsung Bulgaria’s website while it is already listed on the Samsung E-Store in India.

Going by the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 arrives with a 4 inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels while it is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and combined with about 768 MB of RAM, the performance should be fine for normal usage. The internal memory is pegged at 4 GB which will further be expandable up to 64 GB using a microSD card slot. The Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 is dual-SIM capable with the always-on feature.

The Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS with Samsung’s very own TouchWiz UI. There is a 5 megapixel auto focus camera on the back of the device with a front facing VGA (0.3 MP) for making video calls. Connectivity wise, the Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 will have 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, aGPS and 3.5mm audio jack while it will get all the juice from a decent 1500 mAh battery to survive a day for the users.

Expected to be available soon in Black and White colour options, the Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 has been priced at Rs.10,999 with the device being out of stock at the Samsung E Store.
