The Samsung Galaxy S II has been one of the best selling smartphones from Korean giant which is still selling strong and back in January, the company has announced the launch of the Galaxy S II Plus which arrives with some incremental upgrade over the original S II. And the Samsung Galaxy S II Plus is now available for buyers in India through an online retailer and the smartphone has been priced lesser than the S II.

The Samsung Galaxy S II Plus arrives with the 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The smartphone gets all its processing power from a 1.2 GHz dual-core Broadcom BC28155 processor complemented with 1GB RAM. The internal storage has been halved in comparison to the Galaxy S II and the S II Plus packs 8 GB of storage which can be expandable up to 64 GB using a microSD card slot. The Samsung Galaxy S II Plus runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS out of the box with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI.

Connecitivity-wise, the Samsung Galaxy S II Plus will allow users to use 2G, 3G, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, FM RAdio, 3.5mm audio jack, microUSB v2.0. The S II Plus is 8.9mm thick and weighs 5gms more than its predecessor at 121gms and carries a 1,650mAh battery on-board to keep the device running. The Samsung Galaxy S II Plus is available from Infibeam for Rs.22,900.
