Back in March, Samsung went on to announce its flagship Galaxy S4 smartphone and today the 5 inch full-HD smartphone has been launched in India and has been priced at Rs. 41,500 for the 16 GB variant. The Samsung Galaxy S4 will be available for prospective buyers beginning tomorrow i.e. 27th April. While the design of the Samsung Galaxy S4 is much identical to the earlier flagship, the Galaxy S III, Samsung is betting a lot on the software part of the device by bringing in many new features which include Samsung Smart Scroll, Samsung Smart Pause, Air Gesture, Air View and more. Going by the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S4 packs a 5 inch full HD Super AMOLED display while being powered by a 1.6 GHz Exynos 5 Octa Core processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box while a 13 megapixel camera with Flash, Zero Shutter Lag and Back Illuminated Sensor has been included along with a 2 megapixel front facing camera. The Galaxy S4 has the Dual Camera feature which enables users to take Dual Shot, Dual Recording and even have Dual Video Call.

The internal memory on the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB which will be expandable up to 63 GB using a microSD card. Samsung has flooded the Galaxy S4 with many sensors which include the Accelerometer, Temperature & Humidity, Gesture, Geomagnetic, Proximity, Gyro, Barometer and RGB light. Connectivity options on the Galaxy S4 include the Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, IR LED (Remote Control), microUSB and 3.5mm audio jack. There is a powerful 2600 mAh battery which powers the S4 and should keep your device working for all day long.

In India, Samsung has announced its partnership with Vodafone and will provide a special ‘all-in-one’ tariff plan for pre-paid and post-paid Samsung Galaxy S4 customers with which they will get unlimited Internet (FUP), up to 3000 local and STD voice minutes and up to 750 local and national SMS. Samsung will also offer free content worth Rs.12000 with the smartphone details of which are awaited.
