The rumours were suggesting that Samsung was to announce its flagship, the Galaxy S4 which will be capable of supporting LTE Advanced network and the Korean giant has today made the device called the Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A official with almost similar specifications as its elder brother expect for a little better internals. The Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A is the first smartphone which will support LTE-Advanced which goes on to support twice as speed when compared to the normal LTE which is actually blazing fast.

And for this, the company has joined hands with Korean carriers SK Telecom (SKT) and LG U+ and the S4 LTE-A will be available in two colour options which are Blue Arctic and Red Aurora. The Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A arrives with a 5 inch full-HD Super AMOLED display which gives a crisp pixel density of 441PPI while the smartphone arrives with a better processor and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core SoC clocking at 2.2 GHz in contrast to the Snapdragon 600 processor found in the original Galaxy S4. And when it will be coupled with 2 GB of RAM, the performance is expected to skyrocket. Internal memory is pegged at 32 GB which is further expandable up to 64 GB using a microSD card.

The smartphone runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS with TouchWiz UI on the top of it while the Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A has a 13 megapixel camera with LED Flash on the back while 2 megapixel front facing camera is also present on the device. Connectivity wise is supports 2G, 3G, 4G LTE-A, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC and GPS. THe battery is of 2600 mAh which will keep the smartphone running for the users. Samsung will make the device available sometime in summer in Korea and it has been priced at 900,000 South Korean Won which is equal to about $780.
