Korean giant Samsung has today finally made the much-rumoured and leaked Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom smartphone official which, as expected arrives with a 16 megapixel camera with BSI CMOS Sensor with 10x optical zoom with Xenon Flash. The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom will be showcased alongside the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, Samsung Galaxy S4 Active and the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 at an event scheduled for June 20th in London.


Apart from the 16 megapixel camera and 10x optical zoom, the S4 Zoom packs in Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) which will keep the camera perfectly still even when you’re not, reducing blur and stabilizing the image while zoomed in for high-quality photos and video. The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom packs a decent 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels while the camera phone is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 1.5 GB of RAM. There is 8 GB of internal storage available to users which can be expandable to 64 GB using a microSD card slot.

Android 4.2 Jelly Bean will run the show on the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom and the smartphone measures 125.5 x 63.5 x 15.4 and weighs about 208 grams. Connectivity options include 2G, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. The battery on the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom is of 2330 mAh which seems to be large enough to keep the device running through the day with a decent amount of image capturing and video recording. No details yet on the pricing and the availability of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom.
