Few weeks ago we have seen updated Samsung Galaxy 2 (7.0) Tablet. Today Samsung announced Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, an updated version of popular Galaxy Tab 10.1. Wait, did I just say updated version? No, there are not much noticeable changes between newer and older 10.1 inch tablet. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was
announced last year, now they are bringing new version of this popular Android Tablet with almost identical hardware and some cosmetic changes.
First let’s see what’s specification of Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. This is the first 10.1 inch Tablet from Samsung running latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system with custom Touch Wiz UX. The internal of Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is unchanged, it is powered by 1Ghz Dual-Core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It has same 10.1 inch LCD screen with PLS technology with 1280×800 px resolution as older Galaxy Tab 10.1. There are some changes in camera department, Tab 2 10.1 has same 3MP rear camera but this time it looses LED flash and front camera has been downgraded to VGA resolution from 2MP camera . Unlike older Galaxy Tab 10.1 the newer brother can record Full HD video in 30 fps. Fortunately Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has micro SD card slot which was not present in previous 10.1 inch tablet. Other than these there are not much noticeable changes between Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 10.1.
