Samsung loves to flood the market with its Android devices and the company is continuing the same as it has now announced the launch of two of its Tabs offerings in India which are the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 211 with a 7 inch display and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 311 and Galaxy Tab 3 310 which pack a larger 8 inch display.


The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 211 which has a 7 inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels which is indeed low considering that the older Tab 2 arrived with the same resolution and we expected an upgrade on the Tab 3. The dual-core processor on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 clocks at 1.2 GHz and 1 GB of RAM is complimented by it. Internal memory is pegged at 16 GB which is further expandable up to 32 GB using a microSD card.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 211 carries a 3 megapixel fixed focus camera on the back while a 1.3 front facing shooter for video calls and chats has been included on the device. The device measure about 9.9mm thick and weighs 306 grams. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box and has 2G, 3G connectivity with voice calling capability while the usual Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS and GLONASS are available on board. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 will get all its juice from a powerful 4000 mAh battery which should help the device run throughout the day on normal usage.

The company has priced the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 211 at Rs.17,745 and it will be available initially with the White color option with the brown color model will be made available soon after. Vodafone users will be able to enjoy 2GB of free data per month for 2 months on the Tab 3 211 and it will hit the stores starting July 21st. Are you buying one?
